What do you groove to?
Another great way to practice English is by listening to music. Below are some songs that I liked when I was younger, give them a listen if you have a chance! If you come in let me know what music you like.
Crazy - Gnarls Barkley
The Mess Around - Ray Charles
Suddenly I See - K.T Turnstall
Put Your Records On - Corinne Bailey Rae
Halo - Beyonce

Valentine's Day Event
February 14th is Valentine's Day and we are having a special event for students. It starts at 14:30 and is free for eveyone to join. We will practice the ABC's and find missing letters in the shapes of pink and red hearts hiding around the room. We hope to see you there.
Extra Practice
If you want some extra English practice, you can try watching some English language TV shows. Below are three shows that are good to watch with the whole family, give them a watch for some extra listening practice.
Kipper (the Dog)
Clifford the Big Red Dog
Bluey

Sports Drinks
While sports drinks are thought to be a healthier alternative to sugary drinks like cola, they do contain a lot of sugars. That is why water is often the best option when choosing something to drink.
Why do you study English?
The reason I studied English when I was young was for my future.
When I was in 3rd grade of elementary school, my parents gave me an English computer game. I didn't think of it as "studying," so I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks to that, I didn’t struggle with English in junior high school and high school. Moreover, my English grades were the best in my class. Now, I have no trouble when I travel to other countries, and enjoy communicating with people from all over the world.
I want everyone to start studying English as soon as possible.

Practice English With Video Games
Do you like to play video games? I certainly do!
There is a great way to practice your English and still have fun playing your game. Simply change the settings on your game from Japanese to English. This will immerse you in the language while you enjoy your free time. It is especially useful to do this if you have already played the game and are familiar with the story. That way you have a sense of what is going on and you can use that to your advantage while you focus on decifering the familiar story in a foreign language. You might also learn some casual English speech you might not year in class.
Keep up the good work learning!
