Keeping a Diary
Writing about your day is a good way to practice a second language. You get a chance to think in the second language and practice using the words you know well. It is good to use words you already know as much as possible to reinforce them. It also forces you to try and use some harder words and think about how to express yourself. It can be fun too!

The kids know he and she really well now, but the tricky part will be using “wants” instead of “want”.

Who came in first? Beth came in first.
It can be easy to forget how to say first, second, third, etc, so it would be good to practice more at home.

Have you ever eaten tempura? Yes, I have. No, I haven’t.
Food is another really fun topic for kids this age and it is often fun for children to find out what foods their friends have tried.

This lesson is very fun for most students. They really enjoy talking about all the things you can buy at the store.

This sentence is short so the kids have a really good time saying it and learning about the sports is interesting too.

What kind of restaurant do you want to go to? I want to go to a Chinese restaurant.
This is a really fun lesson for most of the students as kids this age are very interested in food and different countries

Using his and her are the biggest challenge this lesson. Practice saying his and her for lots of things around the house.

The meaning of this is easy to understand and practicing counting using lots of different numbers may be a fun challenge for kids this age.

What was the best part of camping? The best part was being at the river.
The "What was the best part..." grammar point is very easy to use in lots of other situations, like "What was the best part of going shopping" etc.
