Summer is always the best time to do all the fun things we have in mind. The sun will be out and our imagination's limitless, we just need to take action and make it happen. 🌟

So, what are your plans for this summer? 🌞 Most of us go on a trip, make sandcastles in the beach, or have barbeque party in our backyard. Those activities sound so much fun and I have another activity you could add on your list, but I need you to activate your imagination first. 🪄 Ready?

Imagine yourself on an adventure where you can be anything you want to be! Name it and we got you! 🧙 Do you wanna be a pirate on a quest to find the treasure chest island? 🔎 A wizard who needs to defeat a dragon?🧙 Or a princess with magical powers? 👸  This list is never ending. 🤩

Here at Camp Amity, we embrace all the creative and out of the box ideas you have. ✨ We let you be who you want to be,  as long as you let us help you. 💖

We'll go on a quest together while learning and building one of the most powerful weapon ever, knowledge. 🎇

In each adventure we do, you'll learn new words, places, sounds, songs, and they're all in English which makes it super extra awesome. 🌈 

That sounds  a lot, right? But always remember, you are magical and you have the power to better yourself each day, we have so much faith in you! ❤️‍🔥

In addition to that, you're not going to do it alone! You might meet new wizards or princesses too! But if you want a solo player quest with me as your mentor, that's alright as well! 🫶

学校の宿題、塾の宿題、試験の勉強…
やらなくてはいけないけれど、理由をつけて先延ばしにしてしまう…

親としてはついつい「宿題やったの？」「勉強しなさい！」と声をかけがちですが、実はそれって逆効果。
子どもたちが「今やろうと思っていたのに！」と反発してしまう原因に。

そんな時、ご家庭での学習のやり方としておすすめなのは、親も一緒に勉強すること！

子どもたちはいちばん身近な大人、つまり親をモデルにしながら、いろんなことを学んでいきます。
勉強をしてほしいと思ったら、親が勉強をしている姿を見せることが一番です！

「いっしょにやろう！」「わからないことがあったら聞いてね」と声をかけてあげてあげたり、
「〇〇くんの１ページと、ママの１ページどっちが早く終わるかな」とゲーム性を持たせてあげたり、
勉強＝楽しいことと認識させてあげると、子どもたちは行動に移しやすくなります。

習慣になるためには三週間程度必要と言われているため、
まずは一か月を目標に頑張ってみましょう✨

◆今年度初の6月英検において今回多数の英検準1級一次試験合格者が出ました！それぞれとても努力をしており、自身の弱点を掴んだうえで
合格に向けて何が必要かを考えて自習とレッスンを双方頑張っておられました！本当に合格おめでとうございます！
引き続き二次試験対策もしておりますので二次試験突破も願っています！また英検5級から2級、はじめての準2級プラスにおいても多くの合格者が出ました！教師・スタッフ一同生徒さん、保護者様の英検に向かう姿勢に感銘を受けています！これからも目標に向かって頑張る生徒さんをアミティー二子玉川校は応援していきます！ぜひ続いて10月合格したいみなさん、二子玉川校にお越しくださいませ！！

一般的に、英語をペラペラに話せるようになるには、
約3,000時間が必要と言われています。

そして簡単な日常会話ができるまでに必要なのは最低1,000時間！

文部科学省の学習指導要領によると、高校卒業までに学校で英語に触れる時間は約1,000時間。
つまりただ学校生活を送っているだけでは、日常会話はなんとなくできるけれど、
ペラペラになれるまでのあとの2,000時間は学校外で学習する必要があるということに…！😲

その2,000時間もただ勉強するのではなく、語学に必要なのは「量」と「継続」！

Tanabata, also known as the Star Festival, is a special day in Japan when people write their wishes on small colorful papers called tanzaku. These wishes are then hung on bamboo branches, dancing gently in the summer breeze. 💫A wish is something we hope for deep in our hearts. It can be big or small—like wishing to make new friends, to be happy, to do well in school, or even for your future self! 😊Writing a wish during Tanabata is like sending a little dream up to the sky. Even if it doesn’t come true right away, wishing helps us believe in good things and stay hopeful. 🌈So when Tanabata comes, take a moment to think about what you really want. Write it down, hang it up, and smile—because wishing is a beautiful way to dream. 🌟
