This week at Amity, we're celebrating Tanabata, the Star Festival--a beautiful tradition where people write their wishes on colorful paper and hang them on bamboo branches. 🌌🎋
Our students have been joining in the fun by writing their Tanabata wishes in English! 🌟

本日は都立公立中学校等に通う中学３年生対象に実施されている「中学校英語スピーキングテスト」についてお伝えしたいと思います♪
こちらは、東京都教育委員会が、生徒さんの「使える英語力」の育成を目指す目的で、令和４年度より実施予定となります。
個々に用意されたタブレット端末にマイクを使い、パートA～Dに分かれた問題を、約１５分程度で答えていきます。
結果は、都立高校入試に活用され、満点２０点が総合点に加算されるとされています。

Are you ready for summer?😎
Is everybody feeling the sun's heat now? or is it just me? 🤧 I bet everyone does! 🫠
It's that time of the year again where everybody will be wearing ice rings or carrying handheld mini fans. We all want to stay fresh and cool during this time, so that's why here are two things to do to beat the heat:
- STAY HYDRATED. Always carry a bottle of cool water or tea with you. When it's hot, our body sweats more which causes us to be dehydrated faster than usual. Having something to drink will help us prevent it, so make sure you have one.LET'S SAY:
🗣 : DRINK YOUR WATER, PLEASE. 🫗
- WITH GREAT SUNSCREEN, COMES WITH GREAT PROTECTION. Your skin will thank you for investing on a sunscreen with higher sun protection. For those of you who loves to go out, applying it will prevent skin aging like wrinkles and sun spots. The sun's rays can really cause a harmful effect on our body, so let's love ourselves more by using more protection for our skin.LET'S SAY:
🗣 : USE SUNSCREEN, PLEASE. 🫗Let's all keep these in mind and have a nice summer! What I also meant by having a nice summer is why not join Amity and let's all beat the heat together by learning English words!
