Last week, our kindergarten students (P3) learned the patterns, "Can you----?" and "I can----."
Most of them remembered what to answer and they were so adorable with their reactions!
Once, I asked them, "Can you fly an airplane?"
To which one student proudly answered, "Yes, I can!"
The whole class laughed at his joke.
Even I don`t know how to fly an airplane!
The look of surprise were written in their faces when they heard their classmate answer with a yes. Too cute!
Others also answered, "Yes, I can." when asked "Can you ride a bicycle?" while others also said "No, I can`t."
They had fun exchanging questions and answers using these language patterns.
Such an adorable sight to see!

アミティーを卒業してはや3年。東京外国語大学の学部4年生になりました。
今は、日本人の研究者が少ない分野の研究をしているので英語の論文を読んだり(読んだり)の毎日です。大学に入ってから英語の勉強をサボっていましたが、もっと続けておけばよかったと後悔しています。(^_^;)
一昨年2023年の夏にカナダのUBCに語学留学しました！一番上のクラスに入って、ホストファミリーやUBCの学生ともたくさん仲良くなれました。アミティーで英会話をずっとやっていて良かったなとすごく思います。
塾で英語を教えていますが、塾長から先生は発音がクセがなくていいですね、と褒められました(^-^)
受験生や英検準一級の担当など高いレベルの授業を任せてもらえて、大変だけど刺激が多くて楽しいです！

Can you imagine a life without songs?
I for one can`t do my chores without listening to some upbeat music!
Did you know that songs were developed by our ancestors through clapping several times to create rhythmic sounds?
Children start creating music by clapping their hands and thus, can develop further when exposed to a lot of songs.
Kids can also learn the alphabet, colors, shapes, and other things even just by listening to children songs!
That being said, please join us in our Song Event week!
It`s totally free of charge!
The important thing is that your kids can have fun and learn songs at the same time!
Your kids` friends outside of Amity are also very welcome to join!
