The term glass ceiling is the pessimistic view that society sets unrealistic goals and introduces even more unrealistic motivations. If someone states that there is a glass ceiling it means that they have been motivated to do something, that the sky is the limit but have found obstacles that were hidden or not as apparent as they should have been.
The term to once again re-motivate people is `break glass ceilings'. This idea was created once many people lost the will to continue their goals or aspirations after finding out that the sky really isn't the limit and that there are actually more factors involved that go unseen.
It's glass, glass is easily shattered even though it may seem as an unbreakable barrier at first. It's just glass.

If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will spend the rest of its life thinking it is a failure. Albert Einstein.
People have different strengths and as such should be tested in different ways to get a true idea of their potential. What may work for one child, may not necessarily benefit another. People are unique, some excel at math and science where others may be better suited to literature and others are more talented at working with their hands. And to judge all students by the same standard puts them at quite a disadvantage and can lead to feelings of inadequacy later in life.
Watch scary movies for a better life
Scary movies have a love hate reputation for many people. Some people really enjoy them and even base a lot of their personality on different scary movies while others see it as an impossibility and would never watch scary movies.
Scary movies have been known to actually help burn calories. When you watch a really good scary movie is common to have an accelerated heart rate which can lead to sweating and overall weight loss. Isn`t that insane? That watching a scary movie can impact you so much. Of course this is only common in some people and the greater majority of people are very unbothered when it comes to watching these kinds of movies.

Movies like Moana often allow people to learn about the deeper meaning to customs of different cultures. Take, for example, tattoos in the movie. The demi- god Mowi has tattoos covering his entire body and each one is an account of a different event in his life. The character is based of a rich Islander tradition where both men and women subject themselves to long painful hours of tattooing in order to preserve their life stories on their skin.
Each line and symbol has a different meaning and provides a retelling of specific events that happen in their lives. In most of the world tattoos are seen as unprofessional, unsightly and a symbol of danger. But to Islanders, Polynesians and Hawaiians tattoos are a way to proudly display both their cultures and their life stories.
Tips to help you live a longer and happier life
Walking is the less strenuous form of exercise and helps improve circulation, cardiovascular health and overall mood. Your brain also releases happy chemicals when you exercise so this can help improve your mental well- being.
Vitamin C is great for cold and flu seasons but should be taken regularly unless advised otherwise by a healthcare practitioner. Vitamin C does wonders for your skin and gives you a brighter complexion.
Going outside and catching some sun. Sunlight, unprotected and in large amounts can cause issues but in small amounts over periods of time help introduce Vitamin D into your body. This can also help improve your moody and get rid of pesky seasonal depression.

Every country has its own personalized "do's and don'ts" list. In many Asian countries it is considered rude or bad to receive anything with your right hand. Your right hand should be used to give and your left hand should be used to receive. This has some superstitious and religious origins.
In Japan it is considered rude or unsightly to eat while walking in public. There are many different reasons for this belief such as that it causes littering, that it shows bad time management but the most prominent one seems to be that eating while walking is just generally unattractive. This is common thought among the older generation but younger people generally do not care or are unbothered by it.
In places like America with strong Native American influence, whistling at night is a major no go. This is also related to superstition and can be seen as an easy way to get taken by evil spirits. More modern and evolved areas agree that whistling at night is a bad idea but simply because it is considered an annoyance.
Common symbols of bad luck.
Superstition is a concept that stretches over all countries. There are a lot of different actions that are heavily avoided as they are seen to bring bad luck or will in some way cause a person to become unlucky. One of my personal favorites is the idea that breaking a mirror will give you seven years of bad luck. Not one or two but seven years. The number is different for all cultures, some say seven while others say eleven and no one can know whose right.
Another bad action is walking under a ladder. This has many different explanations but the most probable one relates to the gallows during medieval times. Walking under the gallows was seen as a bad omen and could land you as a participant in the next hanging.
Lastly and what seems to be the most commonly known, a black cat. Black cats have been seen as a symbol of bad luck for many centuries and even date back to the witch trials. Black cats were seen as messengers of the devil and herald for bad luck . In many cultures around the world people avoid black or even go as far to attack them to avoid receiving bad luck from their presence.
