英語学習には欠かせない「フォニックス」をご存じですか❔
フォニックスとは、発音と文字の関係性を学ぶ音声学習法で、もともと英語圏の子どもたちに読み書きを教えるために開発されたものです。
日本の子どもたちがひらがなを「50音」で覚えるように、アメリカやイギリスなど英語圏の子どもたちは「フォニックス」で英語を学びます。
つまり、「音」と「文字」を結びつけるルールです🎶
このルールをマスターすることで、知らない単語でも、耳で聞いただけでスペリングがわかり、正しく書くことができます❢
アミティーでは英会話のレッスンでも、PCを使用したインタラクティブのレッスンでもフォニックスを学習します。

Preparation for Fall Semester
Hello everyone, this is a gentle reminder that after next week, we will be switching to our fall text and workbooks, that is on October 1, 2024. Please prepare them in advance just in case. After next week you may also leave your spring text and workbooks at home.

Eiken Jr. Application Deadline is Approaching!
Please consider signing your child up for an Eiken Jr. exam! These tests lay the groundwork for future success and help younger students feel more comfortable with the more formal English proficiency exams they will take in the future. Remember to turn in your Eiken Jr. application forms by September 26th in order to take the test in November!
