One of my romper class students really amazed me recently. She is only one year old but she has started saying English words. 👶 I was really surprised! She could repeat some words and she could count to 5. She also knew the names of some colors. It made me really happy to see her smiling and having fun while learning English. I was really impressed with her abilities. 🥰
This just goes to show that you are never too young to learn English.

TOEIC/TOEIC Bridgeの申込締切が今週末となりました。
お申込みがまだの生徒さんは、今週のレッスン時に申込用紙をご提出ください。
英検とは違い、合否ではなくスコアでの判定となります。
今の実力を測り、結果を元にご本人との学習カウンセリングにて、分析内容や弱点強化の方法、英検や学校のテストとの点数比較、今後の学習計画や目標をお伝えしております。年に2回しか受験チャンスはありませんので、ぜひご受験ください。
【試験日】8月20日(日)
TOEIC Bridge: 10:00～11:00
TOEIC: 12:00～14:00
※試験日にご受験できない方は、予備日を設けていますのでお申し出ください。

2級‐85点 -高校卒業レベル
準2級‐65点 -高校中級レベル
3級‐50点 -中学卒業レベル

１歳のYちゃんは最近、どんどん英語を発話してくれるようになり、お母さんも教師もみんな驚いています！日本語もまだのYちゃんですが、先日は"baby"と綺麗に発音したり、1～5を数えたりできましたね。毎週目に見えて言える単語数が増えているので、次来たときは何が言えるかなと、いつも楽しみにしています♪

小学生2年生のAくんは、学校の授業参観ではなかなか緊張してしまうようですが、先日のアミティーの授業参観でお母さんの前で大きな声で発話したり、手を挙げて発表したりしてくれたようです。Aくんの英語に対するモチベーションと自信に、お母さんも喜んでいましたよ♪次の参観日も楽しみにしています！

We have just started Summer seminars at Amity.
This Summer, kindergarten students will be learning about ocean animals. They will make origami sea creatures and a fishing rod. 🐬
Elementary school students can learn about the universe or they can learn English by playing games. 🎲
I am excited to learn about interesting topics and do fun crafts with my students.

My kindergarten students have been learning about the difference between "this" and "that".
They point to things near them and say "this" 👇. They point to things far away and say "that" 👉.
Recently, they have started asking me "what is this?" and "what is that?"
I am really amazed by how quickly they understood the difference. We will soon learn "this is a cat" and "that is a cloud". I can't wait to hear the sentences they come up with.
