I love going to the beach in summer.
I like to build castles in the sand and splash around in the cool water. Swimming for a long time makes me hungry, so my mother always packs delicious snacks. When I go to the beach I collect beautiful seashells.
My kindergarten students were telling me their favorite things about going to the beach. One of my students said "I like to swim", and another student said "I like to eat ice cream".

Many of my middle school students are going on a school trip. They are going to Nara, Kyoto and Osaka. They are all very excited for the trip because they can have fun with their friends. Most of my students said that they are looking forward to going to Osaka the most. They are eager to have fun at USJ with their friends.
It makes me really happy when I hear my students talk excitedly in English.
I hope they have an amazing experience.

4月からアミティーで一緒にお勉強を始めた年長さんのHくん。先日教室の前を通った時に、クラスの誰よりも大きな声で"Is it windy today?"など天気を聞いているのが聞こえてきて、完全な文章をはっきり発音できていることに驚きました！思わず教室の外から拍手を送りました。初めてのころに比べて、自信もついたことを感じます。今月にある授業参観で、Hくんが上手に発話できるところをお母さんにぜひ見せてあげてください！

先日、アミティー生お母さんのYさんと、保護者体験レッスンをしました。今回は国名、首都名を主に勉強しました。オールイングリッシュでしたが、知っている単語や習った文を駆使して、行ったことのある国、また行きたい国でとても盛り上がりましたね♪学生時代の英語の復習、また英語を話すということがYさんにとって楽しかったそうで、私もまた一緒にレッスンできることを心待ちにしております！
