❄️Winter layers everywhere! ❄️🧥
During the winter months, I saw students coming into class with so many layers of warm clothing. I still see winter coats and scarves now, but little by little the students are removing more layers as the weather gets warmer.
Every day, they take off their gloves, scarves, and coats and place them at the back of the classroom. With a larger lesson, the small piles of clothes can look like someone is hiding under them. It is always a funny sight and shows just how many layers everyone wears in winter.

What do you like to eat? 🍕🍣
Some of our junior classes involve talking about foods and cuisines and what our favorites are! Food is always a fun subject to talk about. We all have our different tastes! Some of use like salty, savory, and spicy. While others enjoy sweet, tangy, and tart. Some students have some really interest favorites. Personally, my favorite cuisine is either Japanese food or Italian food. My favorite Japanese food is sushi! I love sushi! My favorite Italian food is pizza!!!

Confidence boost 💯🌟
Seeing shy students slowly gain the confidence to speak English is one of the most rewarding parts of being a teacher. As they become not only more comfortable with English but also more comfortable around me. They start speaking more naturally and louder so I can hear them compared to their usual whispering!

この時期から、正しい英語にふれた赤ちゃんは日本語・英語の区別なくスムーズにことばを自分のものにしていくことができます☆
未来のバイリンガルを一緒に育てましょう！

Getting to know🧠
One of the best parts about teaching is also learning about my students. Learning about their hobbies and interest. Learning about what their favorite books, movies, or video games are! Sometimes even finding a shared interest/hobby that we can talk about together! Watching them using English to share with me their interests is always a joy!
