Since last week, we started asking students what they want as a gift for Christmas.
They would then write it in a circle-shaped paper.
Kids feel very excited about getting Christmas presents from their parents.
One student wants a Ferrari for Christmas!
Other students wants to pass their Eiken tests. A proof of how eager they are to prepare for the tests!
After writing what they want, we`d put it on the Christmas tree poster for everyone to see.
What do you want for Christmas?
Winter vacation is around the corner.
It is a great time to take a break and relax.
Many students were telling me about they're winter vacation plans.
Some students will travel around Japan.
Some students will hang out with friends and family.
But most students said they will do homework and study.
What are your winter vacation plans?
What kind of books do you like reading?
For today`s Senior High students` lesson, I asked my students if they like reading books.
They all said yes!
One likes reading comic books, the other likes romance novels.
In return, I asked if they also enjoy reading English books.
To my relief, they both said yes!
Reading books is one way to help improve their vocabulary and comprehension ability.
I hope students continue to enjoy reading books both in Japanese and in English!
