Trick or Treat! Black and Orange 🖤🧡
Happy Halloween!
According to the Library of Congress, the colors black and orange come from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, which celebrated the end of the harvest and the start of winter; the “darker half” of the year. Black symbolizes the death of summer, while orange stands for the bounty of the fall harvest.
This is why we now often see black and orange during Halloween!
