New Year's Resolution 🤸
Happy Friday. Today was a bit warmer than usual, wasn't it?
It took me 2 weeks, but I finally thought about my New Year's Resolution.
This year, I want to spend more on experiences rather than material things! I want to make memories that I can keep with me for a long time.
I want to do more exploring and (hopefully) make some friends along the way.
How about you? What's your resolution?
Tell us all about it here at Fukuyama Amity! 📚
1/2026 New Year Seminar~!
How have you been?
We had a New Year Seminar and we had fun making our own Ema, or "wishing plaques"!
It was a great challenge thinking about what we want to do our best in for this coming year.
In front of Amity, we have also set up our own yarn where you can tie your own Ema, so feel free to think of your resolution for this year and write it!
See you next time. 🐴

Happy New Year from Yan! 🎉😊
Happy New Year, Everyone!
2025 was full of surprises, and it truly flew by. I’m extremely happy to be here in Japan, where I’ve had the chance to visit wonderful places like Miyajima Island in Hiroshima Prefecture. Experiences like these remind me how exciting it is to step outside our comfort zones and discover something new.
As we begin a new year, I’ve taken some time to set clear goals for myself, and I hope you’ve done the same. Having goals helps us stay focused, motivated, and moving forward, even when things feel challenging. Small, consistent steps can lead to big changes over time.
Learning English is one of those goals that can open many doors. It’s not just about studying a language, but about building confidence, connecting with people, and expanding your world. I hope this year we can continue learning together, sharing ideas, and growing little by little.
Let’s make 2026 a year of progress, curiosity, and meaningful conversations.
Let's Keep Going!
Greetings from Joyce ~ Happy New Year!
I hope you were able to visit a shrine like I did. The Meiji Jingu Shrine in Shibuya, Tokyo was very nice. It felt like a quiet escape in the middle of a busy city! It reminded me that no matter how hectic life may get, it's important to take a step back and relax every once in a while as well as reflect on experiences we have gone through.
This year, I pray for good health, guidance, and strength.
2025 challenged me to become a better version of myself and learn things from scratch. I have learned what it means to become independent and do things alone. It was very lonely at first, but I am now slowly starting to enjoy it a little. Each day is an opportunity to learn something new and explore places I have never been to. It also gave me fresh perspectives and fun experiences, thanks to you! I am beyond grateful for the interesting stories and wisdom you have all shared with me -- I feel that I am now wiser.
This year, I hope I can share more unforgettable moments with everyone. Let's face 2026 together and learn more English!
Fighting!
