It can be so interesting and entertaining sometimes to see which parts of a lesson stick with students for the longest, one of my newest little students, `T` has been intergrating really well into his P1 classes, but he still doesn`t quite understand all of the parts of our lessons.

One part he absolutely loves though is our ABCs, as soon as he comes into the classroom he will look for our ABC boards, and he can recognise most of the letters on his own already, he will point to the correct letters and pictures as he sings and throughout the lesson if I introduce a word he recognises he will pause and declare which letter it begins with. one of his favourite sentences to say is "A is Apple! B is Boat!" he can find words for almost all the letters so far!

Unfortunately, `T` hasn`t quite the hang of being in a group class and letting his classmates try to answer or sing too, when it`s time for our ABC son, he will pause and tell others "No, Me!" if we try to sing with him, I hope that he will be able to get along with them better in the future, since his classmates seem really interested in playing with him!

本日は夏のお祭りにあるくじびきを作るセミナーのお話をいたします。

小2のHちゃん。
アミティーに貼ってあるポスターを見て「私もこれをつくりたい！」と伝えてくれて、クラフトセミナーをすることになりました。
くじ引きの景品は、海の生き物。
OctopusやSquidなど動物の名前だけでなく、折り紙の折り方を英語で学んでいます！

みなさんも一緒にクラフトをしながら英語を学んでみましょう！

On Wednesday, one of my seminar students "S" had a two hour session with me and taught me a new song!
It was so much fun! He used to be one of my regular students and we have bonded really well since I started.
He calls me Khani-chan. He is a really bubbly student, filled with so much energy and laughter.
We had agreat lesson learning about vegetables that grow underground and making a vegetable basket.

At some point during the lesson, he began singing about rainbows.
I was intrigued and asked him to sing louder. I felt familiar with the song, but couldn't place it.
He taught me the few lyrics he knew, we tweaked it together and then started singing:
"Red and orange and pink and green, purple and yellow and blue... I can see a rainbow, see a rainbow...can you see a rainbow too..."

It was such a special moment that I had to share it with his mom too.
I hope I can see a rainbow soon now!

Hello, this is Michael and this is my first post on this blog.

I'd like to talk about the changes that I and my Aeon students have experienced since the two schools merged.

Firstly, all the Aeon students much prefer the Amity teacher's "cool biz" dress code and say that it suits me much more. In fact, a couple of them said that it makes me look younger too, which is extremely kind of them.

Secondly, I've been very heartened to see how the Amity staff welcomed the students to their new home. Such a friendly atmosphere!

Along with this I have some success news to share; my student T passed the Eiken 2nd Interview Test which is a tremendous achievement and I'm naturally very proud of his achievement.

One of my P1 students has become super fascinated by Disney.
She absolutely loves singing the songs at home and has now started to sing them to me in class.
She practices them, with her parents and gives me little concerts in the class!
It is the cutest and sweetest thing I have ever seen and heard.
She really loves singing and speaking English.

She is so good at it! It makes me so proud to be her teacher, especially when she sings!
Her latest concert was " I can show you the world" from Aladdin.
