It's Amity's winter break, but we hope that you won't forget to study English at home.
You can watch the video lessons, or work on your drill books at home! For babies, you can always listen to the CD and parents can sing the songs, too! ♪♬

No matter which country one lives in, the end of a calendar year marks a meaningful moment in time. As we reflect on the year behind us and look forward to the year ahead, the Amity staff and students can feel proud of their accomplishments in 2023. Preparing for 2024 at Yonago Amity means preparing for engaging winter seminars and helping students get ready for another round of tests before the school year ends. But this should also be a joyful season, and a positive atmosphere and a friendly environment will keep us warm when snow arrives this weekend! - Leah Sensei
Here in Yonago we are saying goodbye to our Emergency Teacher, Julie Sensei. While we are so excited to welcome our brand new permanent teacher, Tea Sensei, in her place, it is always bittersweet to say goodbye. It is clear how much of an impact teachers have on their students, and we will continue to work hard to form those important ties. ~Leah Sensei
Now that the final month of the year has begun, it's time for students and teachers alike to work hard toward their goals before the year draws to a close. For many, this means preparing for the next round of Eiken exams in September, as well as entrance exam preparation. For others, that means taking part in seasonal seminars and celebrating the holidays that warm our hearts this time of year! We are offering Christmas seminars to interested students.
Today many more parents came to Yonago Amity to observe lessons, and the students worked hard to demonstrate all they have learned this year! Though it can be nerve-wracking to participate in an ESL class with parents watching, I was impressed by the students' enthusiasm and dedication. I know our students will continue to learn and grow! ~ Leah Sensei
