last week my students were talking about what there is to do around Tokuyama Amity. Two of my students recommended ping pong, another recommended a sushi restaurant.

Today is 'World Banana Bread Day'.
Do you like to bake? Have you ever baked banana bread?
What do you usually like to bake?

Last week I asked my elementary schools students whether they ate chocolates on Valentine's Day. They decided to pretend to do a news report and interview everyone in the class. One student used her pencil case as a microphone and asked questions such as "What chocolate did you eat?" and "Who gave you chocolate?" 🎤. One student used his textbook as a prompter 📰. Another student used his pencil case as a camera to record the interview. 🎥 I was really happy that they were enjoying speaking English. I felt really proud of them.

Last week, during my baby class, my student (Yちゃん) tried the class alone for the first time. Mom, came into class with her and slipped out during the hello song. Yちゃん barely noticed. She was completely focused on the lesson. She read her story book and said the names the things she saw in the pictures. She sang loudly while playing with family finger puppets. She colored in pictures and said the names of the colors she used (which was mostly pink). I was really impressed with how well she did during the lesson. I am so amazed at how quickly she is growing up!

Many of my amazing students took the Eiken exam, I'm so proud of all of my students students who took the test. You all worked very hard and studied a lot!

All of my students have made great progress and have learned so much.
I hope that next time my students take the Eiken exam, they can look back and be amazed at how much progress they have made.

先日年中のSちゃんが、アミティーに来るなり先生一人ひとりに"How are you?"と英語で話しかけに来てくれました！その後自分も"I'm happy."と答え、"See you later."まですべて完璧に英語でこなしてしまいました。ほかのみんなもぜひ真似してほしいですね♪

先日お姉ちゃんのお迎えについてきてくれた3歳のSくん、別の教室にいた先生一人ひとりに"Hello!"と英語であいさつしに来てくれました！来年度からアミティー生になるので、どんな風に成長するのか楽しみですね♪
