英語では cat ですが、では 子猫 は英語で何と言うか知っていますか？
正解は、 kitten です。キトゥン、というと分かりやすいでしょうか。
子どもが使う表現だと、kitty ということもあります。「ねこちゃん」や「にゃんにゃん」と呼ぶのに近いですね。
