This movie is about Merida, the reckless but brave daughter of Scottish King Fergus and Queen Elinor who is a skilled archer in their kingdom. Disobeying an age-old tradition angers the Highland lords which then lead to chaos in the kingdom. Merida asks help from a witch, who grants her an ill-fated wish. Now, Merida must discover the true meaning of courage and undo a beastly curse before it's too late.
