International Haiku Poetry Day 📖🖋
It is international Haiku poetry day. It is an initiative of the Haiku Foundation to celebrate the ancient form of Japanese poetry that consists of three lines with the syllable structure “five-seven-five.” Japanese haikus also count sounds, not only syllables. Haikus typically revolve around nature, the passing of seasons, or fleeting beauty. In honor of Cassie leaving, here is a haiku.

どんな意味になるかわかりますか？
正解は、、
【時間が経つのはとても早い、光陰矢のごとし】
「光陰矢のごとし」と同様、時間が経つのはとても早くて戻ってこないので、日々を大切にするべきという意味です。
“arrow”は「矢」の意味ですから、「時間は矢のように飛ぶ」と直訳できますね。
人にはみんな平等に１日２４時間与えられています。
やらなくてはいけないことがたくさんあるのはみんな一緒ですが、
どう時間を作っていくかによって、今後の自分の人生が大きく変わっていきます。

中１生の※８割以上※が「小学生のうちにもっと英単語の読み書きを学習しておきたかった」と回答しています。中1までに、英単語の読み書きや英訳、和訳といった文法事項の基礎を身につけておくことが重要です。

Have you ever heard of MLKJr? MLKJr stands for Martin Luther King Junior!
He was an iconic figure and imortant force behind the
American Civil Rights Movement in 1950s and 60s. He began his career as a minister in the christian religion but found a deeper calling to fight the injustices of
Jim Crow era America. Jim Crow was a series of laws that forced African Americans to live as lower class citizens during the 1950s and 1960s. This was known as
Racial Segregation and caused many hardships for African Americans. MLKJr saw the injustice and decided to protest using speeches to educate the general public about the problems with segregation laws. He encouraged many Americans to protest for equality. On April 4th, 1968 MLKJr was assasinated by James Earl Ray in Memphis, Tennessee, USA.
