Happy Holidays!

In Australia, did you know that our Christmas season is in the summertime? 🔥 This means our celebrations and traditions might look a little different compared to Japan's, and even the rest of the world! On Christmas Day, we in Australia usually share this time with family. We love having a family lunch, especially a classic Aussie BBQ! 🍔🌭🍖🍺🍉🍴 Those of us close to the beach will usually go for a sunny swim, and heading to the pool is also a popular option on this special day. 🏖️ Christmas in Australia is about family, and we use this time to reconnect with loved ones. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 💗

🎄🎅Christmas 🎅🎄

Is the Christian annual celebration of  the birth of Jesus Christ. Many people exchange gifts and have dinner together on December 25th. This holiday is celebrated by billions of people worldwide! The origin of Santa Claus comes from The Netherlands where he would have "helpers" who would tell Santa if you have been good or bad.

⭐Hanukkah⭐

is the annual Jewish holiday celebrating the recovery of Jerusalem. Hanukkah is celebrated for eight days and nights. The festival is observed by lighting nine candles on a minora. With the final candle being lit a festival and feast will commence.

✨Kwanzaa✨

Is the annual African-American holiday celebrating their culture. It begins on December 26th and ends on January 1st with the new year. On the sixth day they have a large feast called a Karamu. The celebration has been influenced by areas in West and Southeast Africa.
