Some of our students had seminars about different New Year Celebrations. We talked about Western New Year, Chinese New Year and Japanese New Year. The students were amazed by how different the celebrations are.

For example, in Western countries, they do fireworks display on New Year's Eve which is different from Japan. Also, Chinese New Year is being celebrated in February.

It was very fun talking about it and making a New Year's pop-up book!

英検4級に向けて頑張っているSくんは、夏休みも冬休みも読む練習を頑張ってきてくれています📖
夏休みに比べると、読むのが上手になっていてびっくりしました！
今は英検4級のポスターやEメールを一緒に読んで一人で問題を解いてもらっています。
最近は全問正解が多く、自信を持って答えられていました(^^)/

合格に向けて少しずつ頑張ろう♪

Last week, the students at Amity who signed up for Winter Seminars did some Christmas themed lessons!

Isabella Sensei and I helped the students write their letters and wishes to Santa Claus. 🎅　We also made a Christmas pop-up book!

The students and the teachers had so much fun doing the Christmas themed seminars.

We hope to have more students join us next year!

Hello everyone! Yesterday was our last day of regular classes.
Sadly, we will not be seeing some of you until next year.
So, we want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎄🎍
However, there are still some classes happening at Amity.
Students with seminars or make up lessons will continue learning English for one more week.
Also, there is still time to sign up for a Winter Seminar! ⛄
Join us in making fun crafts, learning songs, practicing conversation and writing, etc.
We look forward to seeing all of you again in 2024!

小学生高学年クラスでは、彼・彼女がなにをするのか/しないのかを伝える練習をしています。
プライベートレッスンを受講しているIちゃんは、家族のことについて発表してくれました！
"My father plays golf in the morning. He likes golf very much. My mother doesn't like golf."
とお父さんとお母さんのことについて話してくれました。

Iちゃんの家族についてたくさん知ることができてよかったです(^^)
