Hello Everyone I hope you have been having a great week.
Today we will talk about the L and R sounds in English.
The L and R sounds are combined in Japanese as sometimes they are interchanged in pronunciation. This makes it difficult for Japanese people to distinguish between the two sounds. This makes the listening and pronunciation of these sounds more difficult.
In English, the L is pronounced with the tongue touching the roof at the centre of the mouth with the underside of the tongue while the mouth is slightly open. When making the sound the tongue is slidden down towards the front teeth and the sound is heard after the tongue is released. If the tongue does not touch the roof of the mouth then an R sound is heard instead of an L.
Tongue placement and mouth movement is very important in pronunciation. Most of the time how you are using your tongue and mouth is the reason why your pronunciation is not accurate.
Lets try to practice tongue orientation to help us improve our pronunication.
Till next time!

Today we will discuss adjectives!
Adjectives are a great way to express yourself. They are very useful to practice with as they can be used by themselves! You could also use them in a short sentence such as with "It`s", "He is/She is" or "they are".
Here are some useful adjectves to use with food.

Sally: Delicious!
Tom: Nice!
Sally: Yeah. How was the Pineapple.
Tom: Not good.
Sally:Oh.
Tom: No worries. I`ll try the watermelon next.
