Today's word is 'barefoot'.

barefoot /ˈbɛːfʊt/
It can be used as an adjective.
Example: A young barefoot girl was seen walking around the plaza.

It can also be used as an adverb.
Example: He likes walking barefoot through the cool, wet grass on a summer afternoon.
