  Babies Turned to P1 Students

  M and K attended Baby D group lesson together with their parents. K recently joined Amity, but he was able to grasp the class routines easily with his mom. On the other hand, M who had Baby classes at Amity for a long time, she was able to enjoy the classroom activities with either her mom or dad in class.
  
  Now that they are P1 students, they no longer go to class with their parents. On the first day of class, P1 students are expected to show signs of separation anxiety from their parents, yet they enter the classroom happily. Before the class starts, they like playing with toys specifically fruits where they learn various vocabulary in English such as colors, names of fruits, and counting. This is also the thing that makes them go inside the room peacefully. They play with these toys for a few minutes and they know how to put it away. After putting away, they know that the class will start right away. They are slowly learning the classroom routines independently, such as taking out their storybooks, singing the song, using the pen for the board, and repeating a few words after their teacher.
  
  For several months, teaching them makes me proud to see them grow and do things on their own especially sharing toys and taking turns by giving the pen to his/her classmate. As the lesson goes on, they will continue learning the English language, and develop their listening, reading, and speaking skills more.

  Y is a bright and talented student with advanced English skills! He is currently taking private conversation lessons with a native English teacher. Y already passed the EIKEN Pre-2nd level at the age of 12, a remarkable achievement that reflects his dedication and strong language ability. Y stands out not only for his academic excellence but also for his quick thinking and curiosity. He can handle a conversation in English and knows how to ask simple questions back. We're proud to have such a smart and motivated learner in our school and we can't wait to see how far he'll go!

  「英会話に触れさせたい、様々な国籍の方とコミュニケーションが取れるようになってほしいと思い、１歳を過ぎた頃にアミティーに通い始めました。
  先生方は皆さんとてもフレンドリーで優しく、初めての習い事でしたが、すぐに慣れて楽しく通うことができています。
  レッスン中は常に英語で、レッスンで使われる"put away" や "sit down"などの日常会話を理解し行動できるようになりました。
  始めは、１歳からは早過ぎるかなと思いましたが、アミティーでの成長した娘を見ると通って良かったと実感しています。

  高校２年生　英検準１級合格！

  高校２年生のH君、アミティーでは約１０年以上通学されていて、英会話のクラスを受講されています。クラスでは積極的に会話に参加されておりスピーキング力がとても高い生徒様です。英検試験の準備は家庭で過去問に取り組むだけでなく、通常レッスンの後にアミティーの先生からアドバイスをもらいながら進めました。今回初めての受験で合格されました！高校２年生で英検準１級はなかなか簡単なことではありません。　改めておめでとうございます！Congratulations!   Winter Seminar!

  Yくん is one of our P3 students here at Sagamihara Amity and he is a wonderful student. He always comes to Amity with a big smile on his face and great enthusiasm to learn English. Like most of our students, he really enjoys the fun lessons and likes to use phrases and vocabulary he learned in class.
  
  He also loves to express his artistic side by making various arts and crafts. This winter, we made lots of crafts together for his seminars and he enjoyed all of them! He was able to insert his personality and style in his crafts. He also remembers by heart the useful phrases needed while making crafts.
  
  He likes answering to "Yes" or "No" questions, asking me to do things "One more time.", and saying "Thank you!". Whenever I ask him a "Do you like ....?" question he often asks "How about you?" after answering. His ability to remember vocabulary and pronunciation has improved a alot as well which makes us very happy. Overall, it really is a pleasure to teach Yくん every week.
