SONG RECOMMENDATION: You'll be in my heart
One way of learning and improving one's English language is by listening to English songs. Here is one great masterpiece from Disney's Tarzan.
You'll be in my heart
The song is written by singer Phil Collins. It was said to be originally written for his young daughter, Lily. It was called "Lullaby", and was used in a scene in the movie Tarzan where Tarzan's adoptive gorilla mother, Kala, sings that her baby should stop crying because she will protect him and keep him safe and warm. She says everything will be fine and she tells him that "you will be in my heart always". The song is about "how love is a bond that cannot be broken". (Source: Thomas S. Hischak; Mark A. Robinson (July 29, 2009). The Disney Song Encyclopedia. Scarecrow Press. p. 239. ISBN 978-0-8108-6938-7)
Here are some of the lyrics:
Come stop your cryin
It will be alright
Just take my hand, hold it tight
I will protect you from all around you
I will be here, don't you cry
Listen to the song and feel the lyrics. Please enjoy!
