Maybe you have heard "in 1492, christopher columbus sailed the ocean blue"
When Christopher Columbus found America and European people came over, it changed many things for the Native Americans. Native Americans were forced to move from their homes into far away areas of America as the European people took over. (to california, Alaska, and the claimed "Indian territory" of Oklahoma.
There are many different Native American Tribes as said yesterday. Some of the more well known are the Cherokee, Navajo and Apachees.
The Navajo nation has the largest tribal lands in the United States. Though not all Native American tribes have their own land.
Most of the Native's tribes are found in Alaska, with California having the 2nd highest amount. California also has the highest Native American population of any state.
People lived in the United States before the Europeans came. The first people to live in a land are called indigenous people. The Native Americans are the indigenous people of the United States.
Native Americans lived all over North and South America, they lived in Alaska, Hawaii, and were split into many different tribes across America. Each tribe had different cultures. The tribes were different groups of Native Americans. They were different because of the culture, religion customs and language. However, they were all peaceful to one another.

英検協会もTOEIC協会も、共通テストに向けて、試験問題を試行錯誤しています。
共通テストを受ける中学生、高校生は今のうちから対策として受け始めましょう！
外部生の方もアミティーで受験可能です！

National American Indian Heritage Month
Do you know about Native Americans? They are the people who lived in American before European colonizers came over. Native Americans have over 575 recognized tribes but there are many more, each with their own cultures, traditions, stories and contributions.
Native American Heritage month originally started as a week and was expanded to the month of November by President Obama.
We will learn more about their history and culture throughout this month
