Acrostic Poem for Summer by Kevin
Have you ever heard of an 'acrostic poem?' You use every letter of a word to make a poem describing that word. Here is an example with the word 'summer.'
S So hot.
U Under parasols,
M Many people
M Meander the streets.
E Every day, they are
R Ready to feel cool.
Exploring New Places by Kevin
There is a lot to do during summer vacation. Sports teams still have practice; there is family to visit, and I'm sure everyone wants to enjoy their downtime from school, but it's important to keep your mind and body active during the summer. Going to favorite familiar places is great, but maybe you can find a new favorite place this summer. I've never been to Aso, but this summer, I want to go and explore the place I've heard so many good things about.
