☀︎ Let's expand our English this Summer with our teacher created seminars here at Amity! ☀︎
☀︎ この夏は、ここアミティで先生が作成したセミナーで英語の幅を広げましょう! ☀︎

☀︎☁︎ Aside from the interactive seminar, all other seminars are private! This makes for an excellent place for students to have one on one practice with their teacher, lessons can be easily catered to suit the individual needs of the student, work on a craft/create a painting/create their own fact book over the course of the lessons, and expand their English skills on a topic we normally wouldn't cover in our normal day to day lessons. We would love to teach these lessons and have worked hard to create plans that ensure the lessons are both educational and fun! We highly recommend enrolling for your student to have the chance to learn something totally new and continue to hone their English skills over the summer!
☀︎☁︎ インタラクティブセミナー以外のセミナーはすべて非公開です。これは、生徒が教師と 1 対 1 で練習するのに最適な場所になります。レッスンは生徒の個々のニーズに合わせて簡単に行うことができ、授業中に工作に取り組んだり、絵画を作成したり、独自のファクトブックを作成したりできます。レッスンを受講し、通常の日常のレッスンではカバーしないトピックについて英語スキルを伸ばします。私たちはこれらのレッスンをぜひ教えたいと考えており、レッスンが教育的で楽しいものになるよう、計画を立てるために一生懸命努力してきました。まったく新しいことを学び、夏の間に英語スキルを磨き続ける機会を得るために、学生に登録することを強くお勧めします！

This week in our P1 and P2 classes we talked about the letter C!
今週の P1 と P2 クラスでは、文字 C について話しました！

The letter C makes a hard /Cuh/ sound!
C の文字は「Cuh」という硬い音を出します！

Try practicing these words at home to get more familiar with our friend, the letter C!

This week our P4 students learn /OU/ and /OW/ sound.
/ɔʊ/ or /oʊ/

Let's review and practice these words at home!
OU- house, cloud
OW- crown, owl

This week in P4 our focus is on covering different adjectives that apply to different types of athletes. Last week we learned the different names for several kinds of athletes.

We learned: Weightlifter, skateboarder, cheerleader, football player, runner and sumo wrestler

Now we will be applying the following adjectives to describe these various kinds of athletes.

Fast, slow, heavy, light, strong and weak

With sentences like:

The cheerleader is strong.

Is the football player fast or slow?

He/She is weak.

Learning many different kinds of adjectives is very useful for English conversation, because if you forget the word you are trying to say, being able to describe the word can prove very useful!

Example:
A: What is the name for the athletes that are really heavy and really strong?
B: Are you talking about sumo wrestlers?
A: Yes! That`s the word!

Try practicing at home by describing yourself or your friends! Remember, practice outside the classroom will only help you further develop your skills! You can do it!


今週の P4 では、さまざまなタイプのアスリートに当てはまるさまざまな形容詞を取り上げることに焦点を当てます。先週、私たちは数種類のアスリートの異なる名前を学びました。

When asking questions about other people, we use possessive pronouns. Utilizing possessive pronouns in conversation ensure you are following correct English grammar rules and can be best understood when speaking!

He becomes His
She becomes Her

You wouldn`t ask someone, What is she job? You would ask, What is her job?

Try practicing using these words at home so they can become more familiar to you! You can do it!

他の人について質問するとき、私たちは所有代名詞を使います。会話で所有代名詞を使用すると、正しい英語の文法ルールに従っていることが保証され、話すときに最もよく理解できるようになります。

Since we are currently on lesson 4 of unit 3, we are reviewing all of the phonics we have learned in this unit. This can be a little daunting as we covered some brand new sounds and words, so lets review!
