In one of our Junior High school classes, we tackled the different clubs and teams the students are in : student council, drama club, calligraphy culb, cheerleading team, choir and the brass band. How about you ? Are you in any clubs or teams? Tell us.

What did the teacher say about the sundae?
先生はサンデーについて何と言いましたか?

授業で使う教材:"The Very Hungry Caterpiller"（はらぺこあおむし）の中で"colour"という綴りがあり、「あれ？colourじゃなくてcolorじゃない？」と思って疑問に思って調べてみたところ面白い発見があったのでご紹介します。

皆さんは、"color"と"colour"の違いが分かりますか？

実は、"color"と"colour"は同じ「色」と訳すことのできる単語ですが、"color"はアメリカ英語、"colour"はイギリス英語なんです！

アメリカ英語とイギリス英語で綴りの違う単語があるって面白いですね！
