The other stone for this month is Citrine, known for its beautiful orange and yellow colours. It is believed to carry the power of the sun and bring energy, creativity, and clarity to the holder.
Citrine is a crystal with the ability to cleanse and promote self healing. It also works well in its protective qualities of guarding against negative energy.

November is a month of twos, this month there are two birth stones!
The first stone is topaz. While generally blue, topaz can come in a rainbow of colours.
Topaz bring joy and generosity, abundance and good health. It is known as the stone of love and good fortune. It releases tension and promotes openness and honesty.
It is a good stone that soothes, heals, recharges and motivates!

The second flower of the month is the Peony.
Peonies are also flowers with many petals, but where chrysanthemum petals are thin and numerous the petals of a peony are full and bushy. Peonies are said to have originated in China before gaining popularity in traditional Japanese gardens, so you may have seen many peonies already even if you do not like flowers.
Peony is considered the King of Flowers and is a symbol of nobility, honor, and wealth.

November had two birth flowers, the Chrysanthemum and the Peony.
Chrysanthemums are beautiful flowers (often called mums) that come in a variety of colours. They also taste great in tea!
Red mums symbolize love and deep passion, white represent purity and innocence and honesty, yellow signify neglected love or sorrow, violet are associated with a wish to get well.
