今月は、小学低学年クラスでは、3単元のの学習をしています。
1月後半から、肯定文、否定文と練習をしてきて、今週は疑問文に取り組んでいます。
Do you play basketball?
の質問に対して、自分がバスケをするのであれば、"Yes, I do."
しないのであれば、"No, I don't."で答えます。
Does he play baseball?
の質問に対して、絵カード上の男の子が野球をしていれば、"Yes, he does."と答えてくれました。
みなさん、そこはもうばっちりです✨
ただ、he/sheの主語が混ざっていくことで、何を根拠にdoとdoesを使い分けていくのかに戸惑いが見られました。
疑問文と答えの練習時には、主語である、you、he、sheを少し強調して練習をしたことで、
主語の違いによって使い分けが必要だとみなさん気づいてくれました。
日本語で説明をしなくても、自然と自分で考えて学ぶことが出来るのが、小学生です。
中学生以上は文法学習が始まるにつれて、ルール重視で学習していきます。
ぜひ英語の感覚を養ってほしいとお考えの際には、遅くとも中学生になる前に英語を始めてあげてください😊
